Shipping policy

1. Order Processing

All orders placed with Leuven Home are subject to acceptance and availability. Fabric orders are cut to order upon receipt of an approved purchase order and payment authorization, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Orders are typically processed within one (1) to three (3) business days, subject to product availability, order verification, and production requirements. Requests for expedited or same-day shipment must be received and approved no later than 10:00 a.m. (local time).

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery

Shipping methods are selected at the customer’s request or, if not specified, at Leuven Home’s discretion. Estimated delivery times are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed.

  • Ground shipping generally requires three (3) to four (4) business days from shipment date.

  • Expedited and overnight services are available upon request.

Leuven Home shall not be liable for delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, customs clearance, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

3. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on order size, weight, dimensions, shipping method, and destination. All shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has been shipped.

4. Risk of Loss & Title

Title to and risk of loss for all products pass to the customer upon delivery of the shipment to the carrier. Leuven Home is not responsible for loss, damage, or delay once the order has left its facility.

5. Claims for Damage or Incorrect Shipments

Customers must inspect shipments immediately upon receipt.

  • Any claims for damaged, defective, or incorrect goods must be reported within three (3) business days of delivery.

  • Failure to notify Leuven Home within this timeframe constitutes acceptance of the goods as delivered.

If Leuven Home verifies that an error occurred due to its responsibility, it will, at its discretion, replace the product or issue appropriate corrective action.

6. International Shipments

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, or import charges, all of which are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Leuven Home is not responsible for delays related to customs clearance or governmental regulations.

7. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Leuven Home be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from shipping delays, carrier errors, or third-party handling once the shipment has been transferred to the carrier.
